"Chill Vibes & City Views, A Relaxing Dip in The Chelsea Pool
Spent some time at the Chelsea Pool at the Cosmo and it checked all the boxes for a relaxing Vegas pool day. Access is easy, just show your room key at the entrance and you’re in. Towels are handed out as you walk in, which is super convenient.
You can rent seats, loungers, tables, or even a cabana, but honestly, regular spots are plentiful and comfy enough that it didn’t feel necessary. The pool itself is big enough that you don’t feel crowded, plus there’s a large hot tub at one end. I loved the unique rain shower-style water features in the pool, it was a cool touch!
The hours are great (typically 8am-6pm), and when we went in the morning there were hardly any people until around 11am, so it felt like our own oasis. If you’re an early riser, you'll almost have the whole place to yourself. Life guards are friendly and always paying attention, and the waitstaff was prompt and helpful.
The pool area is clean, the vibe is relaxed, and the city view is a huge bonus. It’s perfect for unwinding without the wild party scene you find at some other Vegas pools. Would absolutely come back, especially for another peaceful morning by the water."

"NOTE: My review is for the Boulevard Pool, I accidentally put in the Chelsea Pool review area, whoops!
The best pool view on the strip. Pro tip: If you want some shade move the white water loungers under the mister machine on the right. Stayed in the shade all day. Water temp was perfect and the staff were good. Can't wait to go again!"

Tailored advice for your travel style
👨👩👧 Families with Kids
If you're traveling with children and looking for a pool experience, you might consider other options within The Cosmopolitan or on the Strip that cater more directly to families. The resort does offer other pool areas, and some hotels have dedicated family pools. It's always best to inquire with the hotel directly about their specific policies regarding children at different pool venues.

Consider renting a comfortable lounger or a cabana for added privacy and comfort. Enjoying cocktails and light bites from the poolside service can enhance the experience. The overall vibe is sophisticated and laid-back, perfect for unwinding together away from the typical Vegas party scene.

The Chelsea: More Than Just a Pool
Attending a show at The Chelsea can be a highlight of a Las Vegas trip, offering an intimate yet grand setting for performances. The venue's design and acoustics are praised, contributing to a memorable experience for concert-goers. It’s a key part of the resort's appeal, blending relaxation with world-class entertainment.
When planning your visit, it's always wise to check The Chelsea's event schedule in advance. Securing tickets early is recommended, especially for popular performers, as shows can sell out quickly. This venue adds another layer of excitement to the Cosmopolitan experience, ensuring there's always something happening beyond the poolside.
Navigating Poolside Service and Dining
However, it's important to note that dining experiences can be inconsistent. Some visitors have reported issues with food orders not arriving or experiencing difficulties in obtaining refunds for unsatisfactory service. While the staff are generally described as helpful, these instances suggest that managing expectations regarding food delivery and service efficiency is advisable.
For those seeking a guaranteed dining experience, exploring the numerous restaurants within The Cosmopolitan or nearby on the Strip might be a better option. If you do opt for poolside dining, consider ordering earlier in the day or confirming order status if there are delays. The cocktails are available but can be quite sweet, so keep that in mind when ordering.
Maximizing Your Comfort: Shade and Loungers
A key tip for finding shade without a rental is to strategically position yourself near the water misters, particularly on the right side of the pool area. This can provide a welcome respite from the intense Vegas sun. Mornings are also your best bet for finding naturally shaded spots and fewer crowds, allowing for a more peaceful experience.
If you're particularly sensitive to the sun or planning a full day at the pool, investing in a cabana or a premium lounger might be worthwhile. This ensures you have a dedicated, comfortable space with shade and often includes dedicated service, making your pool day more enjoyable and less about the constant search for sun protection.
