Reviews Summary

Chinatown Plaza Las Vegas is lauded for its incredible diversity of authentic Asian cuisines and significantly better value compared to the Strip. While some areas show signs of wear, the vibrant food scene and unique cultural experiences make it a must-visit for many. TikTokReddit

"Love the Journey to the West statues as that epic is one of my favorites growing up. The mall has some good restaurants but many public areas look worn out and dingey. Some of that Strip money needs to flow into this area."

Gary Ma

"Chinatown Plaza in Las Vegas is a decent spot to visit, but it's not the most impressive or vibrant Chinatown you'll find. It's more of a commercial center than a bustling cultural hub.

The plaza has a good selection of restaurants and a few markets, with a variety of Asian cuisines. You can find everything from dim sum to pho to Korean BBQ. The food is generally pretty good, and it's a solid place to go if you're looking for a specific type of cuisine. However, the restaurants can be a bit hit-or-miss, so it's a good idea to check reviews before you pick a place.

The plaza itself looks a bit dated and could use some updates. The parking lot is often chaotic and can be difficult to navigate, especially on a busy weekend. There aren't many shops besides the grocery stores, so it's not a place you'd go to just browse or hang out for a while.

Overall, it's a convenient and reliable place to get some decent Asian food or groceries. It's a functional plaza that gets the job done, but it doesn't have the lively atmosphere or charm of a more traditional Chinatown."

"WARNING: Car Smashed in 30 Minutes! Owners Must Post a Sign.
Rating: ⋆ (1/5)

We stopped at Xiao Long Dumplings for a quick lunch on September 20th, and within 30 minutes of being inside, our trip turned into a disaster. When I got back to the rental, three windows were smashed and our backpacks were gone! This terrifying welcome to Vegas happened in less time than it took to eat.

What made a bad situation awful was the staff's reaction. When we went inside, shaken and asking for help, they completely ignored us. They showed zero sympathy or willingness to assist their customers in crisis.

The police later confirmed that this is a major crime hotspot for car break-ins, reportedly one of the worst in the area. The restaurant and business owners have a moral and ethical duty to protect their patrons. They know this crime is happening but are choosing to keep quiet. They must immediately post a large, prominent warning sign on their front door to alert every customer. Until they do, please park here at your own risk."
