What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Circus Circus is a polarizing but iconic Las Vegas hotel, praised for its affordability and family-friendly attractions like the Adventuredome and free circus shows. While some find its vintage charm endearing, others point to its dated facilities and less-than-luxurious feel. It's a solid choice for budget travelers and families seeking a classic, albeit older, Vegas experience.
"My 1st time staying at CIRCUS CIRCUS was 11/27/25.
Every single staff member i encountered was very kind and helpful; the security guard near the casino entey, the older gray-haired gent at the casino window, the sweet little masked woman at the kiosks who assisted me with the check-in and the wonderful guys at the luggage desk.
A VERYYYYY kind fella named Russell rolled my luggage ALLLLLL the way over here to my room (manor C), cuz I checked in at the wrong area which was 10 business days away from my stay 🤭. It was sucha looooong walk, but he walked with me and took my luggage the whole way!! THANKS MR RUSSELL 😇🙏🏾
Ok. The humans who work there were beautiful souls, so, now for the actual hotel...
Great value!!!
I'd never imagine that a last minute (same evening booking) reservation for a 3-day stay could cost so little on the strip, especially for the size of the room!! Vintage type room, with nice sturdy beds, real wooden furniture with lots of drawers and cabinets, blackout curtains, low relaxing lights, big desk/eating table, 2 Queen beds, nice pleasant wallpaper & trim for $180 for 3 days though Expedia.
Only negatives for me was the room smelled kinda stale or slightly ashtray-ish (unless the smell was coming from next door) and no fridge or microwave comes with the room.
UPDATE!!
Because of a plumbing issue, my room was changed (and upgraded), with no problems. Very fast-acting aaaand kind 😇. On my last day, leaving out another gentleman helped me with my things to the car. I didnt have as much as most people but it was kinda heavy (for me) and he was so sweet. I looove the customer service here🥰"

"Late to leaving my review- my partner and I went to Vegas at the end of August. It was my first time. We were running on a budget so we went with Circus Circus despite watching many videos that touted how awful it was. I was expecting the worst, honestly. But it ended up being AMAZING for what we paid.
We don’t need luxury, we are used to long motorcycle rides and often stay in questionably old hotels in tiny towns. So no, this place isn’t the Ritz, but we didn’t mind.
When we arrived, staff was nearby the check in kiosk to help us. At check out, it was easy to locate staff.
Our room was clean and comfortable…and QUIET. We had a view of Area 15 (which was the whole reason I wanted to go, so I was overjoyed at this) AND the Sphere!
Overall, a very agreeable stay for the price. I’d probably be willing to go back if I had actually enjoyed the strip (however, I prefer the small and glamorous feel of Fremont St to the actual strip)"

"The hotel experience overall was neutral, we had one worker make us feel welcome (Rodrigo). I assume living in a tourist town can be very taxing emotionally. Some of the staff were very indifferent in their demeanor when dealing with guests. The skyrise tower had an interesting odor. The room had the very basics but ours had some issues. I.e. the safe was inoperable, the air conditioning worked intermittently. The toilet flush mechanism did not work, we had to remove the lid to make it flush. We were greatly disappointed because we saw online that the pool was to be open year round but it was not when we got there. The pool had water but we aren't allowed to swim, the gate was not locked. The workers that operated the rides in Adventuredome had little to no understanding on basic costumer service skills. If we could give some advice, use your time and explore. There are some free things you can do that might be worth your time. They had a Santa Clause out front for the kids, the kids were able to spin a wheel for prizes. They had a huge version of beer pong. The time of year was great because the lines for attractions were short, I waited in longer lines for the elevators. Go watch the shows at Midway, they were entertaining if your kid can sit that long."

Budget Stays and Value at Circus Circus
Beyond the room rates, the hotel offers complimentary entertainment in the form of live circus acts on The Midway. This adds significant value, providing entertainment without an extra cost. The Adventuredome, while ticketed, offers a full day of fun that can be more economical than visiting multiple separate attractions.
When considering a stay, it's worth noting that the 'cheaper' rooms might be in separate buildings or further from the main casino, as some travelers have pointed out. However, for those prioritizing cost savings and access to unique attractions like the Adventuredome and circus shows, Circus Circus remains a compelling option.
