"One of the best hotels I've stayed at ever, especially in the Vegas area. It's really close to Fremont St., so theres always something going on. These rooms have been recently upgraded and were super clean, with a massive window wall, step-in tiled showers, & bathrooms with a vanity mirror.
I really got a chance to enjoy the DTG pool area this trip, which is a rectangular pool surrounded by ample seating & obviously nice looking servers.. It was an 85° day when i was there & the temperature and vibe was perfect. There's an open casino on the Entry level which reminds me a mix of both old and new Vegas and also a sportsbook! The Furnace Bar sits in the middle and it's a must to grab a drink from that team who took great care of my dad & I. The beers are modestly priced and the service level reminds me of a real Bar in Vegas from the 2000s. A really fun place to hang out.
The only bummer for me was that Freedom Beat closed down sim e my last visit. I loved grabbing a steak & eggs there to kick off my day. But guess what? It's Vegas...theres Steak n Eggs everywhere and I should probably go out and walk to get it.
All in all, I highly recommend using the Downtown Grand Hotel and of course, I'll be back when I'm in town again."

"Amazing location and great value, all of the staff in both the casino and hotel were very helpful. Hotel room was clean and no issues were experienced during my 5 night stay. Its location directly off of Fremont street gives access to many things to do within walking distance while providing some distance and buffer between the noise and chaos of Fremont Street. The casino while small has a good amount of table games with good minimums the pit and dealers were professional and friendly. The bar staff were attentive and not stingy with drinks for people playing at the bar. Anyone looking for a clean place to stay that provides a fair price I recommend stay at the Downtown Grand."
