What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Lovell Canyon for its free, beautiful dispersed camping and scenic drives close to Las Vegas. The peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty are major draws. However, the lack of amenities and rough road conditions, especially for standard vehicles, are frequently mentioned drawbacks.
"This a paved road that takes you into the Spring Mountains. Half way it turns to dirt and high clearance vehicles might be needed. At the end of the dirt road it meets up Trout Canyon road, turn left and you are back on 160 outside of Parump. Nice day run with Beautiful scenery and overall great area. Camping spots ( BLM) are also scattered around the area."
Tim Davis
"Super amazing dispersed camping ground all free. free campfires already made"
Isaac Hernandez
"Beautiful area not far from Vegas. Free dispensed camping. Cons are no vault toilets (or any amenities) and some of the roads (outside the 1 main road) are pretty poor/washed out. Which is fine for a truck but gotta scout it by foot before you go if coming in a car."
