What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Treasure Island (TI) is frequently praised for its excellent value, offering affordable, clean, and safe accommodations with the significant perk of free parking. Its central location on the Strip is a major draw, providing easy access to attractions and dining. While some find the decor dated and the food options uninspired, many guests feel it's a perfectly good choice for a budget-friendly Vegas stay.
"This was a good stay- reasonable rate for a clean, spacious room with a good view. In fact, we booked a "run of the house" room and it happened to be a corner room with an excellent two huge window view. A couple notes-- check in was a nightmare. We stood in line for about an hour and a half from 11pm-midnight after flying all day. For whatever reason, everyone else was too. They had 6 or so receptionists open and actively working but that was an unwelcome surprise when we just wanted to rest. There is a quick check in kiosk but unsure if it worked, as we didn't see it until after and they weren't routing anyone there. Additionally, the A/C was decent, but not the cold we might prefer. To be fair, it was a HOT week and all A/Cs struggle at a point. Great location. Beware drink prices in the hotel- they're super high. Also, they'll charge you for the resort fee at check in, but not literally pull it from your account until check out. It's confusing, but they don't double charge you."

"Overall a positive experience as it was my first time in Las Vegas.
I would say that the worst part of the experience was that they forced me to pay a security deposit that I wasn't fully aware of as it was in fine print instead of being out I the open. The resort fee was too much for a hotel where they told me I could upon check in that I couldn't use any of their amenities because they gave me a discount. I was I'll informed from my third party travel agency and the hotel on what needed to be paid. Not only that, but the jets in the tub for their suite didn't work. Otherwise, it was a good experience and enjoyed my stay."

"We checked in about 7pm. The line to check in took about 40 minutes. We were told we get a $35/day credit for anything in the hotel. We requested a panoramic room and the views from the 33rd floor were amazing. The bathroom wasn't cleaned well, but nothing we couldn't handle. There are multiple restaurants and little gift shop type places. Great location to walk down the strip. Our biggest issue was check out. We waited in line for almost an hour to check out and then we were told that the $35 credit does NOT go to any of the shops, only the restaurants. They and the manager said there is nothing they can do even though we wouldn't have purchased anything at the stores if we would have known the credit did not apply there."
