"This resort is not conveniently located to anything else. I took the city bus to get around. You have to climb/ descend 135 stairs to get to the street level to catch the bus. The casino is always smokey even in the non- smoking section. Rooms are starting to show age and need updates in the bathroom."

"Had a horrible experience here. Checked into a room with peeling wallpaper and the ac not working. Had one maintenance guy come “fix” after waiting 30 minutes, it was still extremely hot and humid in our room, when I tried to call the front desk I was on hold for at least 10 minutes till i decided to go down to the lobby for a second time. I was told that the sun beats on the central tower so this might be why our ac wasn’t working, at this point it was 8 at night, the sun was down. Was told that we could wait 20 more minutes for another maintenance guy to “fix” our ac (because apparently the night shift maintenance guys are better?) Or we’d have to pay an additional $16 to upgrade our room…? Decided that we’d wait again because didn’t think it was fair to pay an additional $16 for something that wasn’t my fault. Finally a second maintenance guy shows up to our room and does something to our ac. Tells us to wait an additional 30-40 minutes for it to cool down, it never cooled down. Finally got a different room after 3 trips down to the lobby and 3 hours after our check in. The third room ac was fine until the next day and it was super hot our entire stay. When I got to the room there was chewed gum on the counter. Also thought I should mention there were two other guest trying to change rooms when I went down the third time, one person had to pay $20 to change rooms because the the lights they have on the side of the building were shining right into the room she booked. Insane. Pool was dirty and like warm. You pay $20 a day in resort fees and I honestly couldn’t tell you what that goes towards because the entire hotel is old and run down. Would never stay here again and would never recommend this place to anyone I know."

"Went for a birthday weekend and concert. Concert was canceled day of. Tried to get Resort fees waived but ended up just being a hassle. Lot of time wasted on the phone. No space to gamble at the bars. Was always full. I do like that they have alot of different food options. The pool rules are ridiculous. Just plan on spending alot of money if you want to drink while there at pool. Only allowed to bring in 2 waters."
