What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate the park's convenient parking and improved river access for tubing. The picnic areas with grills are a hit for family outings. However, some express disappointment over the removal of mature trees for recent park upgrades, though the overall sentiment leans towards the park being a well-maintained community asset.
"This park definitely needed these upgrades with how big the crowds have been getting—things were starting to get out of control. It’s great to see Lava reinvesting into the community. Especially with the new tax increase on all the tourists, they should be able to make these improvements now. The next big fix should be widening the bridge so tubers can safely walk across without worrying about vehicles. That would make a huge difference!"

"This park and all the mature trees Doesn't exist here anymore..
They bull dozed everything here to pave paradise and put up a parking lot.
Shame on the town of Lava .. very disappointed in the decisions made here by the county and or city ."

"It is great if you want to go rafting and it has a great entry point"
