"Love these trails. Not overly challenging, just fast and fun. Some days it’s just what you’re looking for versus KS rock gardens!"

"I don’t see how anyone could give this trail a bad review, it’s a wonderful trail! I’ve hiked on trails all over the country and this seriously is a favorite of mine. Very secluded feeling surrounded by nature and has enough small hills to allow you to get a good exercise. I noticed people claiming on here that there are trails clearly marked for “hikers” but please be aware that this trail loop is a shared trail for both hikers and bikers. It’s a loop and to create a safer hike and ride for everyone they ask hikers to hike in one direction and the bikers to bike in the opposite direction which allows you to see each other coming but don’t let the “hiker” and “biker” signs make you think those trails are specifically for them, it’s a shared trail and bikers go in one direction and hikers in another, it’s easy to get that misunderstood. From my experience the bikers are always friendly and respectful towards the hikers and let you know they are coming. There’s no reason bikers & hikers can’t get along. The trail is super long but they have “turn around” spots where you can cut over to the returning trail to come back. There are beautiful scenic views of the river, lots of birds, flowers and deer. The trails are always clean as well. Love it!"

"Not hard hike by any means. Great views of Lawrence River and soooo many sweet mulberries and fragrant honey Sickles and cyclists right now.
Great findings of wood ears after the rain."
