"Lotta local history didn't have the stuff i was looking for (more lawrence than Douglas county here) but very good people the lady at the front greeted us and was very polite. One of the few places I felt comfortable as a republican which says alot about how nice they were. I hope to comeback and see more exhibits open. I had just an hour to spend here, it was enough to thoroughly examine one exhibit and most of another. The rest I just quickly looked at. Plan an afternoon to enjoy it leisurely. Then enjoy the local food places there are several very close by."
