What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Terry Peak Ski Area is widely praised for its friendly staff, excellent ski school for beginners, and affordable pricing. Visitors appreciate the good snow conditions and the welcoming atmosphere, making it a great value for a mountain getaway. Some minor dislikes include limited dining variety on the mountain and the potential for crowds during peak times.
"It's pretty ridiculous how the terrain park is much worse now than it was 15 years ago.. you guys are just clueless to your industry. I miss when deer mountain was around and actually forced you guys to be competitive, since they arguably had better terrain and a much more fun terrain park for cheaper.. so you guys actually built a terrain park that was on par for many other small resorts, and even fairly decent compared to larger parks to be competitive. I mean seriously.. do you guys ever travel to any other resorts? at any major resort they will have an awesome terrain park right under a main lift because they know that's something people enjoy and it is the biggest driving factor of the sport over the past 20 years. kids dont want to be on your little goofball ski team, that doesnt stand a chance regionally... stop living in the 1980s.. get with the times. kid's cant name a single pro ski racer, nobody watches that sport.. many ski kids can name several pro slopestyle/terrain park/half pipe riders. thats what kids want. yet, you've literally cut the size of the park in half.. CLUELESS and out of touch. doesnt eliminate the people that would ride the terrain park, it only makes the mountain more dangerous for everyone since we have to make the whole mountain a terrain park. first time not purchasing a pass, in about 19 years. bought a big sky pass instead and will just ski bum it out, rather than pay for a mountain that clearly doesnt care, and isnt as good as it use to be. if you are traveling with kids, go to colorado or montana, wyoming, even minnesota and places like Michigan have far superior ski hills, that actually understand the industry, offer better terrain and better terrain parks. dont waste your money."

"Very nice facility. Avery was an awesome instructor and helped my two sons learn to snowboard. By the end of the class they were able to easily bomb the bunny slope with ease. What a great time!"

"Great place to ski without breaking the bank! Our younger boys did snowboarding lessons last year and they quickly learned how and had a lot of fun! Returned this year because they had so much fun last year! Friendly staff. Much more reasonable prices than you find in other states."
