"Lewes Historical Society is awesome. We got the $10 combo ticket that lets you visit all of their trio of paid-entry museums rather than paying $5 per person for each. This review is specifically for their Main Campus at Shipcarpenter Street. We walked the grounds and did a self-guided tour using the brochure map picked up from an outdoor self-serve box by the campus entrance. We visited at the end of the day so some things had already been closed up, but we loved how well kept the old 1890s schoolhouse and old tavern were. The campus was very peaceful. We wished we were going to be in town for the tavern's history night! We parked a couple blocks away by the Ryves Holt House (also owned & operated by the society, but has free entry) and walked down to this area. Very pretty walk. Great historic district feel."
