What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate Great Meadow Arlington for its natural beauty, especially the unique wetland boardwalks and the opportunity to observe wildlife. The park offers a peaceful escape, with many enjoying the rustic trails and the picturesque autumn scenery. However, some find the trails challenging for mobility, and mosquitoes can be a significant nuisance during warmer months.
"Rustic and narrow walking trails will get you back to nature in Lexington. The trails will take you around the perimeter of wetlands. If you have mobility issues you may want to skip this one. Mostly the trails are heavily wooded and not too many vistas. We parked at the Waldorf School on a Sunday."

"We biked up and did a quick hike around the Meadows in search of fall colors. Not as easy as we thought to get really good pictures of the meadow as the vegetation is pretty tall.
Nice easy hike though that we thoroughly enjoyed. Bike parking is limited and we got lucky someone was leaving."

"Very nice park, but we had a TON of mosquitoes and got bitten pretty hard. Take some insect repellent when you go out there. We saw a turtle basking, a spider that stand on the water and some very nice trees and bushes. The boardwalk is good shape and lets you walk on the marsh land. We saw a few dogs, but one person was riding an electric bike on the walk paths which was not cool."
