What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the Lexington Farmers Market at the Depot for its diverse selection of fresh produce, unique artisan crafts, and delicious baked goods. The accessible parking and welcoming atmosphere are frequently praised, making it a favorite local spot. Some note that certain artisanal items can be pricey, and the selection may diminish later in the day.
"Went for the first time this last Saturday and really enjoyed it. My Mama requires handicapped parking and appreciated that it was available right next to the entrance as well as a ramp to walk up and wheelchair accessible. There were about 20+vendors and all had a little something different. Coffee, baked goods (so much temptation), crafted goods like soap, bowl cozies and even a cool hummingbird swing. There were fresh seasonal fruits and veggies, farm fresh eggs and honey. There was even a booth that sold boozy caramel chews that were delicious! My favorite was the Bourbon sea salt caramel. Very pricey but worth the indulgence.
Definitely plan to try and visit once a month to see if there is a variety in vendor changes. Oh and I do want to mention they have bathrooms."

"Been wanting to check out this Farmers Market and had heard about Grow & Go Girls [through Robert's Farm in Denton I think] so I decided to drive over and find them and experience this market. Really well done at the Depot with tons of room and plenty of social distancing parameters [which I appreciate]. So I found the G&G stall and the young girl helping me was quite nice and helpful. The items aren't cheap but quality never is. I purchased several of their bars/blondies, some pimento cheese and jalapeno cheddar biscuits and a loaf of blueberry bread with a streusel topping. Their bars/blondies are enormous and might be the best I have ever had. Biscuits are as big as my head and the blueberry bread was top notch as well. G&G Girls has a great backstory. Check them out.
Also Lexington is darn lucky to have such a nice market in a beautiful setting.
