What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Virginia Horse Center for its excellent facilities, spacious stabling, and well-maintained arenas, making it a top choice for equestrian events. The presence of numerous vendors and ample schooling areas further enhances the experience for both horses and riders. While the facility itself is highly regarded, some minor issues like strong asphalt fumes on haul-in days have been noted.
"We were at the Virginia Horse Center for the USDF Regionals dressage show, and it was a great experience overall. The stabling was spacious, airy, and super comfortable for the horses. Having easy access to water and electricity made everything so much smoother. There were plenty of food vendors and shops on site, plus tons of open areas to school, graze, and park trailers. It’s a really well-thought-out facility for both horses and riders. My only suggestion would be to avoid paving on haul-in days — the fresh asphalt fumes were pretty strong. Other than that, it was a fantastic venue and we’d definitely come back."

"The Virginia Horse Center included Working Equitation during their jumper derby. We had a blast participating in the Working Equitation portion. This is a super nice facility with excellent footing in the arenas and incredible views on the hill."
