Wednesday. My goal was to get to my house. Unfortunately, I understand the destruction of water and wind all too well. My childhood home was destroyed in a hurricane. Lincolnville beach is devastated. The Lobster Pound, The Whales Tooth, The Beach Store, the entire strip was flooded.

"We love this beach! Beautiful and close to Belfast where we stay with family. We've been coming to this area for 50 years and have many fond memories of The Lobster Pound restaurant (now a gift shop) the ferry, the beach store, and the tee pee gift shop (no longer there). Best memory was our kids beach combing. When the tide goes out, you can walk way out and explore tidal pools for hermit crabs, snails, and starfish. 😀 Biting flies, bring bug spray!"
