"Google recommended, and we went.
I'm so happy we did! This gem is a volunteer run, donation funded industrial & ag museum. Wear your walking shoes as there are trails & out buildings to visit. Don't forget to feed the turtles in the pond out back!"

"Nice selection of antiques with some very knowledgeable people working there. The park is owned by the city of Lindale and it kind of shows as a lot of the equipment outdoors is not protected and is falling a part. Would be nice if they could find some sponsors to help fix it up."

"Wow! What a neat and fun experience to walk through all of these buildings and be able to see machines and tools that date way back from 1850 - 1950. From tractors and chainsaws to a blacksmith shop, then to a little barn area where there are a bunch of saddles and equipment that you could hook your horse up to, to help around the farm. This place really has a ton of historical artifacts that show how early American life was. It's on a big piece of land in East Texas with gorgeous trees, green scenery and a small little lake. You can't swim in it but it's still a beautiful little peaceful place to take the family. There are plenty of places to sit and relax and tons to see. At the very end of the walkway is an adorable little chapel where you can ring the bell at the Bell Prayer Tower. Then when you're done walking around outside, head inside the Old Mill Pond Museum for some AC and take a walk around the two story building with old tools, medical equipment, kitchen and laundry artifacts, musical instruments and so much more. Admission is free also and they also have an elevator for those in a wheelchair or those who can't walk upstairs.
The general store is one of the many buildings they have on this beautiful piece of land and it is a quaint little shop with cute souvenirs and local honey you can purchase. The lady who runs the store is so sweet and kind. You won't regret visiting this awesome little place."
