What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Littleton Cemetery is generally praised for its beautiful, well-cared-for grounds, serene atmosphere, and historical significance, offering lovely mountain views. However, some visitors have reported negative experiences with management, citing rudeness and difficulty in communication, particularly when dealing with plot purchases or family grief.
"John, I've talked with you a few times and have found you kind and respectful. I'm wondering what has changed. Please call me. I'd like to speak with you about the tree root going across our gravesite. The grass is thinning and the weeds are taking advantage. Before I go into this space the roots will have to be cut. If we could do that sooner rather than later, I'd appreciate it. Please, before the root heaves the stone and it breaks apart. Thanks so much. Peggy Caughlan"

"We had a horrible experience with the manager. My mom asked him where the office was and he started yelling at her and it escalated from there. She was crying and he was arguing with my brother. I tried to calm the situation down and he started yelling at me. My dad had just passed the day before. I just don’t think that’s an appropriate way to treat a grieving family."

"I have been trying to contact someone at this cemetery since past two days to purchase a plot. It’s quite impossible to reach anyone. I have left voicemails. Then I received a call and he was rude and informed me that there were no trees in that cemetery. I ended up driving there and it’s filled with trees. I called back and left voicemails again. Very unprofessional and irresponsible."
