"Great place to learn! Highly recommend the lessons, particularly with Nate. He is great at teaching beginners, and really knows what he’s talking about and if something isn’t working, he will explain it in a different way until it makes sense. I can hear his voice in the back of my head when I practice golf swings, and that’s a good thing. 5 stars for Nate!"

"Son played in a sanctioned USTA Level 6 tournament here and son’s opponent was late 25 minutes from match time posted on bracket. I am assuming i was dealing w Katherine Richey bc the person i was talking to said she was the Tournament Director. When all the other matches that were scheduled at same time got courts and a court became available, the next round of matches for later time started getting called. I had to ask the director when the time penalty for the opponent starts for him being late. She acknowledged it started but i had to ask what she has for the official time, she said it started but she never gave it to me. I then had to take initiative and call the time for her. A few minutes later the opponent showed up. The director only penalized the opponent by giving my son the coin toss. The players then started their warmups. I googled the rules and per usta rules, a point was supposed to be given too. I addressed the director about the rule and she said she was being lenient bc the a court wasn’t ready. I had to remind her several times that a court was ready and that’s when she put on the next matches. She said she can override this rule bc she is the director and i asked if she can point me to where i can find this in the rule book. She did not provide me any direction to where directors can override this rule. She then said it’s friend of the court rule. I then asked her how is her friend of the court decision to override a late penalty rule friendly to my son, who was here on time. She kept saying a court wasn’t ready but there was a court ready and she put on a later match. my kid was on time, checked in 15 minutes early so waited 45 minutes from the match time designated and the opponent was “5” minutes late from when a court became ready (shows up 25 minutes passed the match time posted and never checked in). The late opponent was only penalized the toss. I wonder if the kid who was late goes here for lessons, maybe favoritism??? Poor experience as the director can apparently overrule rules set that side on the kid who are late.
There are so many tournaments in the denver metro area, and we chose the wrong one. I strongly advise anyone to go elsewhere to play good tennis, this place is a joke and runs a horrible tournament."
