Visitors enjoy the lively Thursday farmers market with its food and music, as well as the historical museum. However, the lack of a playground means it's not the best choice for families with very young children seeking play structures.
"Thursday and Sunday farmers markets downtown. Live music and entertainment many Thursday evenings. Small intimate local downtown park ideal for meeting up and strolling the town for food 🍽️ 🍔🌮🌯🥙🥗🍕🥓🍱🥘🧆🍛🍲🍣🍤🥟🥞🍰🍨🥠🫕🦪🍦and music 🎼 .
*Be sure to stop and smell the roses 🌹👃 & by the water feature. ⛲️☺️

"Pictured is Holiday Village in the Park, 12.01.2023. Santa was sitting inside gazebo for pictures with kids. Line was very, very long.
Easy to find location near downtown to meet up with friends or family for a quick picnic lunch. Picnic tables on site. This park does not have a playground, so cannot really recommend for families with young children looking to play. It's the site of a local historical museum, though, which has interesting permanent and rotating exhibits. This park can be very busy during the Farmers Market on Thursday afternoon/eves (seasonal), but has not been crowded at other times we have stopped by except during scheduled events. Relatively short walk from one of the many restaurants downtown, so great place to enjoy a takeout meal under the mature trees."

"One square block Park co-located with with the art gallery in History center building in the center. Several picnic tables near the trees so shade is findable. Very convenient to downtown Liverpool and other shopping so a quick break at the park is easy to do"
