"We went there mid-February to check if we can spot some Sandhill cranes and we are lucky to be able to see them just after the sun rises. There's plenty of small birds as well and a bunch of snow geese and Canadian geese (plus a pheasant in the bushes behind the seating area.) A beautiful sunrise and sunset are just a bonus. Love hearing the sounds of the birds. It's amazing and so relaxing."

"A small parking lot. Restrooms available. We saw 6 cranes come in for the evening. Nearby property had snow geese galore. You need a docent to see the northern sector. No reply from any agency to find one. Not really a destination otherwise. I’m thrilled the small preserve is there for the migrating birds!!!"
