Where should I begin a walking tour of Adams Morgan?
Heading back to Washington next week with my wife (who is travelling for work). Been to the city several times (most recently this past February) and wanted to do something a little different, so was thinking about doing a personal pub crawl/walking tour of this neighborhood.…
Just moved from Adams Morgan to Capitol Hill - some thoughts
So I finally did it. After 3 years of saying "next year I'll move somewhere with a parking spot," I actually pulled the trigger last weekend. For context: 2-bedroom apartment, way too much furniture for someone who "doesn't collect things" (narrator: she does), and those narrow…

Reviews Summary
Adams Park is generally well-loved for its excellent playground and abundant shady picnic spots, making it a great family destination. While the park's upkeep is praised, some visitors have encountered issues with groundskeeping staff's operational courtesy. Parking can also be a point of contention.
"I had my two dogs. They're both small pugs when I pulled up. There was a guy blowing the leaves when we walked by. He didn't even turn it off or go in the other direction. I had to go around him. Then when we sat down by the tree, the guy that was in the big lawnmower, kept coming closer and closer instead of waiting a few minutes we weren't even there that long. Also, it looked like the people worked for Logan that we're doing the cleanup. I just feel like people should know common sense and then, as I was leaving the same guy that was blowing the leaves the first time went by my car and was blowing the leaves by my car. It was crazy. I was like what is he doing? Like I know he was younger, but they may need some training or something to maybe be polite even nobody waved or said hello, which is fine but I don't need you blowing leaves all over me and my dogs and I think the guy with the big machine( lawnmower ) could've waited like a minute cause there was plenty of other areas where he could've picked up leaves, but he just kept coming near my dogs and I , but my dog kept barking Because it was so loud. I just got a weird feeling from it and left so I don't know the company except on the truck it said Logan with writing underneath. Whoever cleans up their, maybe needs to tell their employees like to turn off the blower when someone walks by or not put it near their car. Turn off blower and leaves don't get all over it ! And I don't know, Maybe wait till the person leaves to clean up a certain part. Just was a waste of time."

"I love this park! There are lots of picnic areas and a large pavilion for events. There is a playground, sand sports area, and lots of giant trees, which is awesome in the summer. Parking isn't the best, but that's okay."
