Trail Variety & Parking Pointers

The main loop is popular, but many connecting trails exist, which can be confusing. Parking is limited and fills up quickly, especially on weekends. Arrive early or consider weekdays for a smoother experience. Reddit

Reviews Summary

Visitors love Bluffs Regional Park for its stunning panoramic views of the mountains and Denver skyline, its convenient location, and its suitability for dogs and runners. The well-maintained trails offer a good workout, and the opportunity to spot wildlife is a bonus. However, the complete lack of shade makes summer visits challenging, and the small parking lot can fill up quickly.

"This is one of my favorite trails because it’s close to home but still you still get an amazing view of DTC, downtown, the foothills and the mountains. Once at the top you can go as far east to a little sitting area or go west for a while. Honestly I usually get lost because so many connect at the top lol. I usually park at the trail head but parking lot is small and can fill up. It’s definitely dog friendly though some of the trail is pretty rocky. PSA there is literally no shade so can be pretty hot in the summer."

Taylor Sullivan

"At a steady pace we completed the main trail loop in almost exactly one hour.

The trail is unpaved, but fairly well maintained. Good view, pretty flora & fauna along the trail. Seems less accessible for those with handicaps or other mobility limitations, but it does have quite a few intermittent benches for those who need to rest.

Would recommend for an easy hike, bike or jog. Also great for dog walkies."

Zach Barton

"I went on a walk here with some coworkers. The trail was well kept. The views were terrific. Parking was easy to find. They had picnic tables and porta potties by the parking lot. It was bike friendly and dog friendly."
