"I had a great time here! The ocean is definitely different on the west coast. Even the air was less salty than the east coast beaches. I spent some time on the pier and then walked up and down the beach. It was one of the most relaxing walks. There is so much to do here. While walking along the beach , there are all kinds of exits where you can go Into the streets and shop or eat etc. Very nice place to just walk around and explore. I was able to ride scooters from one end of the city to the other all the way to the beach."

"only thing this place is good for is probably fishing and seeing the ships and islands. the water was full of trash but oddly pretty clear. i pulled an entire blanket out of the water. the bathrooms are just an upscale portapotty and theres no place to rinse your feet off like every other beach ive been to. i dont know how the top review is someone saying how safe the place is. i didnt feel safe at all. there are people who live under the pier, someone had called the cops because of an altercation, and a man screaming profanities in the parking lot. maybe it just depends on the day?"

"It a decent pier will all the things you need from a pier, nothing really special, and the ocean views are quite nice. Some decent catches could also be found here."
