What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Cesar E. Chavez Park is appreciated for its peaceful atmosphere, scenic bay views, and family-friendly amenities like a playground and dog park. Visitors enjoy the summer events and live music. However, some note issues with parking and the presence of homeless individuals.
"This park is okay , it’s quiet. A good place to relax. And enjoy a book to read or maybe walk your dog. It’s a big park. I clean sometimes. It haves a playground for kids to play. But sometimes there’s homeless people walking around and sometimes drug addicts. Just keep on eye on your kids and belongings .it has good parking."

"There's everything to enjoy. Dog park. Picnic area. Community Center. Amphitheater. You can have a picnic and listen to music. A bike trail is next to it."
Gail Meredith
"Great park. Kids play and enjoy the park very much. It’s a great place for dogs and great community of people with mostly well behaved dogs. No homeless stay here as it’s attached to the schools, not sure how that works, but it’s working very very very very well. I would highly suggest this park to anyone with dogs or kids to enjoy the day at. Fully fenced. The are set up for baseball games and practice a few days during the week but it’s clearly posted and most people stay away to allow the kids to play. Keep up the work at this park as it’s one of very very very few that are not destroyed by homeless."
