Reviews Summary

Collyer Park is a beloved, compact green space in Longmont, particularly praised for its unique train-themed playground that's perfect for toddlers and young children. Visitors appreciate the ample shade from mature trees, historic charm, and convenient amenities like picnic areas and restrooms. While not a large park, its thoughtful design and historical significance make it a delightful spot for families and casual outings.

"Not a huge park. But a good park for baby/ toddler and younger children. It has 1 playground including 4 swings and 3 slides. The best part is it looks like a train! It's next to some actual train tracks so there's a chance a train could pass by while you're there, although that didn't happen for us.
There are lots of trees offering really nice shade depending on when you go. And there are benches around the outside of the playground for parents to sit while children play."

"Great large park in Longmont. It has a nice children’s playground themed as a train with slides, swings, and ladders to climb. Also has a tennis court, two gazebos, mature trees, restrooms, and public art."

Sean H

"Came here with my 10 month old. It's descently sized. It had shallow long stairs for her to practice on. There's a tube underneath the playground that allows her to have independent play as well. There are swings here for younger and older children. The playground was pretty clean. There are lots of trees that make for good shade. Will definitely be returning."
