What's the quickest way to see a great view lookout mountain? We are passing through and only have time to stop for a little while.
The view from Point Park is *the* iconic view of Chattanooga. It’s literally in the city seal and appears on all of the manhole covers and trash cans around town. It’s Park Service property so there is a small fee, but it’s worth it.
Back Story - front side of Lookout Mountain, TN
There's a road from St. Elmo that is a 1 way road going almost to the top of Lookout. Very few houses up there. I drove up that road 10 years ago or so and spotted this. I've asked around but no one has been able to tell me anything about it.
