What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Guests rave about The Hollywood Roosevelt's historic charm, iconic pool, and vibrant atmosphere, calling it a 'bucket-list type of experience.' The Spare Room and Cinegrill Theater are highlighted as unique attractions. However, some visitors note that certain rooms can feel dated, and service can be inconsistent, particularly on weekends. The high cost of valet parking and a daily destination fee are also points of contention for some.
"Had a fantastic stay with my wife and daughter! The location couldn’t have been better – we were right in the heart of everything, super easy to hop in an Uber or walk to restaurants, shops, and attractions. Everything felt close and convenient.
What really made the trip special was the incredible customer service. Everyone went above and beyond, but special thanks to Dean for all his help, Nicolas the concierge, who was genuinely friendly and welcoming every single time we passed by, and Falcon at the front desk who was always quick to assist with a smile.
We left feeling like family instead of just guests. Already looking forward to coming back – highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting! Thank you for an unforgettable stay."

"Had a great stay at The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel during Halloween week. This hotel is stunning and gives you that old Hollywood vibe property-wide. It has a vintage feel to it that makes it so special and worth a visit. The hotel staff were polite and we had some great interactions with their staff. We ate at many of the restaurants at the hotel including 25 Degrees and Tropicana Cafe and both were excellent, pricey but worth it. The pool area is a vibe (pretty awesome to swim in the same pool that Marilyn Monroe swam in). The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom is a little small but adds to that vintage charm. The location is prime as you are directly on Hollywood Blvd and steps away from all of the tourist spots. This was a stay I will remember forever and look forward to coming back in the future."

"I think this hotel is kind of past its prime. The rooms do not feel luxurious with their old TVs and the loudest air-conditioning system ever been in. The public spaces are really nice thought!
Parking FOR PAYING GUESTS is $75/night. I think it’s because the surrounding area is so sketchy that you have to use it. Beware of that before you book. Not to mention resort fees. All my local friends we shocked by that, so know that’s not standard.
I say skip this hotel for its cost. Visit the pool if you can and have a bar night here. Don’t pay to go here."
