What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Turn Zero Games is a popular spot for Magic: The Gathering players and board game enthusiasts, praised for its extensive card selection and welcoming community. While some visitors appreciate the helpful staff and the unique Y2K-themed Zero Lounge, others have noted inconsistent customer service and a lack of Pokemon cards. The store is a vibrant hub for gamers, though potential visitors should be aware of the specific inventory and staff interactions.
"I came in on Saturday the 6th looking for Magic: The Gathering cards for a Christmas present. The gentleman at the desk was very friendly and asked about the experience level of the person I was buying for (very). He then asked me my budget and offered to put together a selection of booster packs to match it. I'm very happy with what he chose. It ended up being dead-on for my budget level and I think the recipient will be much happier with these selections than with my uninformed choices. I really appreciated that extra level of service. It was a kind thing to do while the store was full of people playing games."

"I’ve come in multiple times, and I really feel like it’d be a better experience if the place wasn’t staffed by the most unfriendly, standoffish, nigh-antisocial clerks you could imagine. I get that it’s a place for socially awkward folks but that doesn’t mean staff should act like you’re intentionally wasting their time by simply asking if they stock a specific game. A yes or no question. Honestly the place is empty and smells like sour sweat so it’s not like customer service is their only deficiency, but they’d climb back faster if the staff weren’t a bunch of awkward unwelcoming dorks."

"The store advertises to sell Pokemon Cards drove 20 minutes to the shop only to find out that they don’t even have one single Pokemon card or pack in their store. Please don’t waste your time if that’s what you’re looking for."
