The KFC Yum! Center is a large, clean downtown arena praised for its friendly staff and diverse events, from UofL basketball to major concerts. While many find the ticket prices affordable and the experience enjoyable, some reviews highlight concerns about expensive concessions, parking fees, and organizational issues with entry and traffic flow during peak events.
"Super easy to find. We arrived an hour early to make sure to have plenty of time. The Arena Garage was already few cars into the street but not terrible. For convenience I decided to use the Skywalker garage directly across from the Arena’s garage entry. It was a $20 fee but easy open with plenty of free parking spaces. I was able to park in the first row walk across the street and be at the entrance no problem. The building itself was a little strange to navigate not knowing the exact layout but it really just circles around. Employees were polite, building was clean and the show was awesome. I will say snack a souvenirs were definitely on the pricey side, With both a bag of popcorn and a bag of cotton candy being $18 a piece but each did come with a little souvenir of its own. In the end the prices didn’t matter the experience was well worth it and the tickets were very affordable."

"Very nice downtown arena. Large seating capacity for basketball or other indoor events, 21,860 in attendance for the NCAA Volleyball Championship game. Plenty of concessions and clean restrooms. Excellent variety of food options but as you’d expect stadium food and drink isn’t a bargain.
Lot of garage parking for the venue, I parked at the 215 W. Market garage, ate lunch at the Spaghetti Factory next door, and walked 2 blocks to the arena. Very easy and convenient.
Overall a beautiful venue, would be happy to come back."
