Anybody ever visit Lake Isabella in Loveland?
Was thinking about doing a little late season fishing at Lake Isabella in Loveland. It is a pay to fish lake but from what I am reading online, very rarely are people actually catching fish there. Has anyone been to the Lake before to fish? Did you have any luck?

Public lakes?
Looking for a public lake to swim and hang out at with friends while drinking some cold ones
Kayaking in/around Loveland
Howdy all! I'm new to town and looking to get my paddles wet. Where are good, chill places to do so? Also, do I need a fishing license to access state lands even if I'm not fishing? Thanks in advance!

Discovered Carter Lake
Drove over to kill some time and was surprised at the size of the lake and with the amount of public infrastructure. Most of it looks new at that. Obviously it's dead this time of year but it must be full of people during the summer? Just looking for any insight / suggestions.β¦

"Chill spot, great walking areas, good views of the foothills"
Richard Grimm
"We watched the fireworks over Lake Loveland on July 4th, 2023. The people putting it on did such a nice job. I missed the very end when videoing and it was the best ending to fireworks I have ever seen. It was a bunch of loud quick booms and fireworks and that was it. There was no random fireworks afterwards, making you question whether they were actually over or not. It was absolutely splendid.
I also like walking along the other side of Lake Loveland near Eisenhower Blvd."

"This is one of my favorite places to go and watch the sunset. I bike around town and this is one of the best rest stops on my way back west. There is so much change in the water and the experience depending on time of year. It's got a great sculpture garden on the north west end off of Taft, Benson. It's very lively here with a trolley and theater, sports, picnicking areas and even a place to swim at the swim beach. I wish that were bigger though, as it could alleviate bacteria and just general germs. It's a tiny area, swim at your own risk. Watch the weather change."
