Easy but pretty walks in Lynchburg
Riverside Park and Hollins Mill Park are two of my favorites!
beginner outdoors
Hi there, I have lived in Lynchburg on and off for over a decade, but I haven’t explored much. Anxiety, depression, Covid, being broke – just haven’t been out and about. I know it would be good for me to get out and touch grass, as they say. Are there any very very beginner…

What's the dirtiest park?
What park here has the most litter and trash? I'm with the Lynchburg Park Volunteer Service and I'd like to do a nice job. Also, if there are any trails/paths through said park, that'd be helpful!

"Still visiting every other day. My most vivid compliments to whomever takes care of this trail. The conditions are always optimal. A real jewel right in the middle of town"

"I love this place, beautiful and seems to go on forever! Dog and bike friendly and some places to sit and relax. There are porta potties which I didn't even dare open as I'm sure mid summer they're full of bugs but we didn't even see half of it and we walked miles. So many great views and the water was magical. Will be back. Oh and the tunnel is so cool!!!"
koda koala
"A beautiful location all around in my opinion. There's a small amount of free parking just next to the entrances. There's benches around the main park, including a bench right next to the water. Everything is well kept, including the nearby trails. There's porta-potties all around the park, but I haven't checked them."
