If you are into music on any level and ever find yourself in Macon Georgia you MUST visit The Big House Allman Brothers Band Museum. To stand in the same spots where Dickey Betts wrote “Blue Sky” and so many other pivotal moments in the ABB time line took place was an emotionally humbling experience. . . . . #allmanbrothers #bighouse #musicalhistory #southernrock #psychedelicrock #macon #georgia

"Great place to visit history! Whether you like the band or not, this is a great place to visit. So many cool artifacts and lots to learn about the band. I am a fan of the band and this was amazing for me to see. The pool table in the set of photos was owned by Greg and Cher while married. If in Macon, take time to go here. Such a great place. People working there are friendly and knowledgeable and have connections to the band. Also cool to see a photo of Greg of him outside this museum after it opened. Go here!! It's a must see!"

Parts of the house actually made me choke up because of the nostalgia from a time that has been lost. The young guy in the gift shop is great !"
