Kicking off the weekend right with fish stocking in the Mammoth Lakes Basin. Lake George received 1,000 pounds of trout this morning and Lake Mary received 2,000 pounds. The weather looks beautiful in the days ahead so get out a catch a big one! #fishing #summer #mammothlakes

"I had a great experience. Traffic was closed due to snow and flooding until further notice. You can still get free transportation from the shuttle to go around the lake. I rented a kayak at the Pokonobe Marina at Lake Mary. Incredible views, so peaceful; definitely, a place to come check out for a nice picnic, kayaking, fishing, or simple relaxation."

"We drove around the lake this time. There is a nice easy trail around the lake. Really nice Alpine lake with crystal clear water. Go slow since lots of bicycles and pedestrians are about."

"After a great cup of coffee hitting up Lake Mary for some kayaking in the fall was so peaceful. The breeze cut through the trees making music, the sandy rocky little beaches around it made for a great place to have a picnic. My dog loves going out on the water with me and I him. Mammoth is a place many go to ski, but I find it to be much more rewarding, spiritually speaking in the fall. Less people, plenty of routes to ride your road bike or trails to venture off to with your mountain bike. The lakes are lovely, the streams of them are great places to hike into forrest therapy. Lake Mary is one of my favorite up here. I do like June lake and Convict Lake but Lake Mary has the dense trees so close to the water that it makes for perfect balance between forrest and water. Go enjoy."
