What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Liberia House as a well-maintained hidden gem with a rich history and peaceful grounds. Many appreciate the dog-friendly atmosphere and the educational value of the historical markers and artifacts. Some note that trail maintenance could be improved and interior access may be limited.
"A hidden gem!! I had no idea this was here . I was looking for a historic site to walk my dogs, and this showed up in my Google Maps search. I glad I found it. This historic site has an old house but nicely maintained, a short trail though the woods, a small garden, a cemetery, an area with painted bee houses that you can see the bees, and a nice clean property with historic signs. It is obviously dogfriendly too with a poop station. There is a restroom building. There is no parking lot that is accessible, and need to park on the grass along the horseshoe gravel driveway where the one way entrance and exit are."

"Lots of history. The trail isn't well maintained, so it's difficult to rate. There was a private tour in the house, so we could not view the inside."

"Very cool historic plantation house hidden in the heart of Manassas. Very peaceful grounds with an old cemetery on site"
