"Our tour guide, Don, was great!! Highly recommend paying the $8.00 per adult for the tour. Learned so much about Custer and his wife. Love that you can still see the original bricks from the first house. Make sure to find out where Custer and his troops went to start the long journey to Little Bighorn. Also take the tour of the Indian village. It is included in the price of the ticket. Each tour starts at the top of the hour."

"The Custer House tour at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park was a wonderful glimpse into the life of Custer and the other officers who lived at the Fort in the late 1800s. Although Custer and Libby lived in the house a relatively short time. The house has been remodeled and furnished to replicate the period. There are also some photos and displays that share info about the Custers and other officers of the period.
Tours are offered on the hour. Obtain your tickets at the Commissary building located near the large parking lot. Our tour guide was fantastic and was very knowledgeable of both Custer and the Fort."
