Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Lake Bluff Bird Sanctuary for its unique Giant Sequoia trees and beautiful autumn scenery. While the steep beach path presents a challenge, the tranquil nature walks and serene atmosphere are highly appreciated. Some note fewer bird sightings than expected, but the overall experience is considered a delightful natural escape.
"Michigan never seizes to amaze me when I visit. This find of the biggest Sequoia tree outside of California was a treat. I was visiting the area for the fall colors and saw this place mentioned. It's a lovely area with lots of benches to sit and enjoy nature. There is a path to the beach, but beware, the climb down to the sand is not for anyone with limited physical abilities. Thankfully, there was a knotted rope to help me down and up."

"Great place to take a stroll and see nature. Sequoia trees were neat. Followed a path down to the beach (questionable if you have limited mobility but fine for myself and kids!) Overall an interesting place to visit!"
Jacalyn Nagel
"Beautiful place. Highly recommend. I did notice a vine growing up the baby sequoia on the right side hope they cut that vine off there before it damages the tree."
