Reviews Summary

The main challenge is accessing the island via a sandbar, which requires careful timing with low tide. Parking can also be difficult during peak seasons, but the effort is generally considered worthwhile for the scenic experience.
"Beautiful! Hard to find parking and access. But, worth the effort."
George Ware IV (ABostonArtist.com)
"We ventured from Somerville to this great little park for sunset. The website recommends making it there within 90 minutes of low tide to make the land bridge/sandbar safely in and out; probably conservative. Next time we'll plan to go to the island nextdoor as well which was also clearly walkable at the time. I imagine parking would be an issue during beach season but was just fine when we were there two weeks ago."
