Part 7 of finding new walking trails around the city. Lake Roland is located in Baltimore County and has beautiful trails and a waterfall. They also had a nature center, which I believe hosted summer camps for activities. I did see people fishing and on kayaks. There is a playground and dog park, so plenty of activities for everyone. Lastly there were plenty of seating and shaded areas for eatin...

"Love the trails! I always see or hear birds, chipmunks & squirrels. There are benches along the trails that are in remembrance of a certain person. The views are breathtaking. The little waterfalls are peaceful to hear & watch. There are trail maps available so you don't get lost."

Lynne Anne Thornton

"A great location for a short or long, easy or difficult, or anywhere in-between hike."

Rob Stergas

"They have ample parking. The have maps you can take on the trail board when you pull up. Also have large porta potties available in front of parking lot. They have information on various programs they offer at the park. The trails are clearly marked. Which is nice for less experienced hikers so you don't get confused. Wasn't sure what all the wood stuff was supposed to be on the rabbit trail. They have some flowers planted in different areas. Along with different benches to sit down on. Overall it was ok. We did the squirrel and rabbit trail. The squirrel trail goes down and up hill. They have varying fungi growing aswell. These are all no dogs allowed trails."
