"This trail runs along the railroad track, very wide and nicely paved. You can park at Brown Park aka the Confederate Cemetery (open 5am - 11pm) and walk all the way thru town to Lewis Park, which is another really nice city park with an off leash dog park.
This morning I walked the little over 2 miles from Brown Park to Lewis Park and back. It took us about an hour. Love love love all the murals and public art. There are 2 different pedestrian bridges that allow you to cross the 120 loop safely.
You can actually continue all the way to Kennesaw Mountain right now. One day it will connect the Chattahoochee to this path, hence the name Mountain to River Trail. I will review the portion from Lewis Park to Kennesaw Mountain separately. Stay tuned.
Go check out this trail! Your dog will love it!"
