Reviews Summary

Visitors find Mound Cemetery to be a fascinating and historically rich site, particularly appreciating the unique blend of an ancient Native American mound with the graves of early American pioneers. The well-maintained grounds and the connection to significant historical figures are frequently praised, though some note the view from the mound is limited by trees.

"We visited this cemetery on one of our trips to Marietta, and it was interesting to find the ancient mound in the middle of it.

We find it fascinating that the pioneers of Marietta (mostly buried in this cemetery) decided to build the town burial grounds around the mound and keep it intact.

For history or paranormal fans, it's a must to read about the site and experience those buried in these haunted grounds.

The grounds were well kept, and if you chose, you could climb to the top of the mound. Spoiler alert: you really cannot see much from the top due to the large trees, but it was still a great experience."
