What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Vago Park is a well-loved community spot, particularly praised for its excellent playgrounds, splash pad, and grilling facilities. Visitors appreciate the variety of activities for children and the convenience for picnics. However, some note limitations in accessibility for individuals with physical disabilities and the walking path's steep incline.
"Two upgraded playgrounds, a splash pad, a tennis court and a horshoe pit what more could you ask for! There is something here for kids of all ages. They even have a 2-5 playground and one for bigger kids. Only down fall is it is not the most accessible park. There is only one accessible swing and no other equipment could be used by wheelchair users or those with physical disabilities"

"I visited this park specifically to walk the AllTrails Vago Park Walking Path and found the trail to be somewhat unique in that it encompasses two separate parts of this elongated park with very different features. The section of the trail closest to the park entrance contains a steep hill that I don't recommend tackling in wet weather, but is otherwise good exercise. There's also a decent bathroom. The path to get to the second section of the trail/park is along a roadway that's for the exclusive use of the park (I.e. it's not a residential street). In contrast to the first section, the second part and the street leading to it is very flat. There are some pretty gazebo-like shelters in the second section along with a nice bathroom. Walking the entire trail is about 2/3 shade, so good on a warm morning. I personally didn't get much out of this park, but I can see where it would be popular with local residents and, judging by the enthusiastic playing, it seems very popular with children."
