Anyone have experience Kayaking around Marysville/Everett's Steamboat Slough?
Is this a good place to take a 10'-12' kayak? Around Spencer Island, Steamboat and Union Slough? How about around Jetty Island? Do the tides effect much in the waterways upriver? Thanks for any information.

Best places to SUP around Everett
I enjoy standup paddleboarding (SUP'ing) and am considering a move to the area. I've SUP'd rivers, lakes, sloughs and the ocean under the right conditions. Calm conditions are generally best as opposed to choppy waters or rapids, etc... So far I've seen a few mentions of Lakeβ¦

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Ebey Waterfront Park for its clean, paved trails ideal for walking, biking, and dog walking, with beautiful waterfront scenery, especially at sunset. However, the proximity to a water treatment plant can result in unpleasant odors on warm days, and some wish the trails were longer.
"Wonderful trail completely paved in the direction I went I didn't walk the entire length so I am not sure if all the trails the map showed upon entering actually connects or not. That will be a planned outing next time. Only negative is at the beginning of the waterfront trail is a water treatment plant which is an awesome smell on a warm sunny day in the.spring. I can only imagine what it will smell like come the summer months."

"Yeah great trails and paths here. I appreciate the thoughts on building the boat launch and great commercial docks. There might be a homeless problem here but hopefully local PD can resolve this."

"Lovely small park, with lots of parking. The highlight is the waterfront trail. It is absolutely next to a water treatment plant, but when you get out past it, it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. It was absolutely beautiful π especially at sunset. I was there by myself & saw a few people, but felt safe & there were zero smells from the water treatment plant. I just wish the trail was longer! Will be back!"
