What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Medora Musical for its high-energy performances, patriotic spirit, and talented cast. The outdoor setting in the beautiful Badlands is a significant draw, and many find the variety acts, especially the performing dogs, to be a delightful addition. While the show itself is exceptional, some reviews mention the steak dinner being passable, and occasional issues like smoke from wildfires can impact the experience.
"The musical was absolutely amazing in an outdoor setting. Due to smoke from the Canadian fires, they had to shorten their performance. But it was still enjoyable. The horses we're incredible in their performance. Highly recommend. The town of Medora is very convenient to the south entrance of Theodore Roosevelt's National Park."

"Highly recommend to take time and see the show. Performers and band are wonderful. The variety act was great too. Show is 2 hours long with an intermission. They invite the little ones on stage. So cute. We were in section 4 row G. Perfect location to see all the action on stage. There is an elevator or walkway to the mezzanine level. If you don’t want to or can’t take stairs, I recommend the upper level. There are several stairs to get where we sat. When the show is over they dismiss by row. This was so nice and controlled the vehicles exiting."
