"To be clear, this is not a park. It is a site set aside with grassland prairie grasses and a trail to mark a site sacred to the Dakota people. It does have good views of the Minnesota River valley, with the Mendota Bridge and Ft. Smelling across the way. The main stone markers commemorate the various Dakota tribes."

"One of my favorite places in Eagan to go to watch planes land and take off at Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport, see the sites over the Twin Cities, watch the traffic on 55 and also watch some beautiful storms work across the region. I have not hiked all the trails there yet, but I do see a fair amount of people enjoying this area pretty often! One set back is there can be limited parking at times!"
