What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Lyndale Park Rose Garden for its stunning beauty, vast collection of rose varieties, and peaceful atmosphere. It's considered a must-visit during summer for its vibrant blooms and well-maintained paths. Some note that visiting past peak season can diminish the experience, and parking can be a challenge during busy times.
"Really liked this area, but we were a bit late in the season so it was past peak. I would go between June and August to see it in the glory. Really nice architects with tomes of Rose variants As well as some really nice other plants (native and non-native) that beautifully accentuated the whole garden area. It has a couple memorial fountains in it if you want to rest and have the water soundscape along with the gardenscape.
A great place to spend a few hours as it is right near Peace garden also, and the Bird sanctuary. You can walk around Lake Harriett as well"

"Beautiful and yet to gain the popularity it deserves. The paths are well maintained and gorgeous.
The pay lot is the best bet at $1.50 per hour, but are the only option that doesn't involve a few blocks walking."
