"My mother recently had surgery at this hospital, and our experience has been devastating. I am her legal POA and primary caregiver, yet I was never contacted before she was discharged — even though I had requested she be admitted for observation.
After she came home, my mother was in excruciating pain and shaking so badly she could not drink water or take her medications safely. She also developed a rash on her face, which I reported right away — but no doctor ever contacted me about it.
When I finally spoke with the surgeon’s office, the response to her pain was cold and unfeeling, even mocking her before offering a half-hearted apology. No patient should ever be treated this way, especially when they are suffering and vulnerable.
We live far from the hospital, and she should never have been discharged in this condition. The lack of compassion, failure to communicate, and refusal to address new symptoms have put her health and safety at risk.
Families deserve better communication and care — not to be ignored while their loved one"

"I loved the nurses in 6a, I was in the hospital for a EEG. I was there for a total of 10 days. I loved 3 nurses particularly. I went for walks regularly even if I to wanted to walk at 3 in the morning. I ended up have a seizure and when my husband hit the button my husband told me nurses came running. When they flushed my iv it started to burn they had to change my iv 3 times because it stopped working. The day I left my iv stopped working but I was leaving so they didn't have to replace it. The Dr's are also very nice."

"This hospital helped save my life 3 years ago when I had a stroke. I stayed at the icu and I was able to reach full recovery. Thank you so much for the help and care and making sure I wasn’t discharged until I had a housing option. God bless all the nurses and doctors that cared for me during my time at the icu. My life has completely changed for the better🤍"
