Many find it a worthwhile stop for a casual stroll or a dedicated historical exploration. "very nice cemetery. I wish they offered maps outside of the office for visitors after hours. it's easy to drive around on the gravel paths. There are beautiful large trees and the confederate soldier section is a nice tribute to the men who fought and died during the Civil War. Remember that they fought for what they believed in after the politicians told them they need to preserve it. Family against family, neighbors and country folks. No traitors buried here just men doing what they were told by government and dying for it - soldiers at heart."

"The magnolia cemetery is a beauty. Although one typically doesn’t pay visits to cemeteries unless they have a friend or relative to visit, the tombstones and history of magnolia are simply stunning. We advise everyone to please be respectful when visiting - do not disturb those in mourning by driving quickly or blasting music. A worthy stop when visiting Mobile."
