"Great place to spend time with family. Great for fishing , lots of hiking trails with different lengths on miles , a lot of wildlife muse etc. We saw a lot of fish putty big ones 20 inch plus. Make sure to check fishing regulations if you go fishing . There's some tables along the lake for picnic."

"We got here around 430pm & walked the trail till about 6pm . Turned around & made it back to the trail head just in time to sit and watch the sun set over the mountains around 730pm.
This was an awesome walk. We didn't see much wild life other than some chipmunks & squirrels. But we also only got out maybe a mile & a half before turning around.
We're planning on coming back soon to try to get on the trail in the early morning . Possibly camp out in the area also.
If you choose to walk around the water it is definitely easy enough for kids .
& so many opportunities for pictures!"

"Did the trail around the lake for the first time last weekend. It is a wonderful place to hike. The trail is not too difficult except there was a few hundred feet of the trail that had been submerged under water and despite multiple people's attempts to create make shift bridges with logs it was quite difficult to cross and keep your feet completely dry. Still it's a great spot with multiple small waterfalls going into the lake making a lovely soundtrack of running water during the walk. Beautiful place to be. Get out there and see it"
