If you have little or young kids, the lawn next to the parking is an amazing picnic spot; just bring your blankets and food and drinks and sit and relax after a bit of walk in the woods."

"An excellent small nature park! There is a good amount of parking, restrooms and trail map posted. There are many benches and even a picnic area. It is a 1 mile loop trail with several offshoot trails to viewing areas. It is recommended to go to those areas which are accessible via boardwalks. The viewing areas often have benches and blinds to allow more chances to see birds. The trails are hard pack so easily walkable. Dogs are allowed. This is a great place for an easy walk that is mostly shaded in hotter months."
